To make a person utter a lie, requires more intimidation and torture, than to make him tell the truth . The CID implemented third degree torture on His Divine Holiness, not leaving a fingerprint on
Him that might trap them with a hard evidence.
Heavy Lights High Decibel Shrill Sounds
The police installed heavy lights through a special contract just for purpose of torturing Him and forcing a false confession. Long unending sound torture sessions were run to cause deep physical and psychological pain. Tile cutting machine was used to create shrill sounds and asphyxiating dust inside His cell.
Ice-cold water on bare floor
His Divine Holiness was not provided even a mattress in the cell apart from a wet wrapper paper to sit on. He sat, slept and meditated on the bare floor. During night to stop him
from sleeping, water mixed with ice was poured in His cell. His Divine Holiness silently endured such inhuman acts.
Induced Asphyxiation
Tile-cutting arranged around His cell continuously let out dust which he had to inhale, choking Him through the night, bringing tears in His eyes, and a constant running nose. He spent nights choking, unable to breathe, covering his nose waiting for dawn when the machine would stop.
Deprivation of Religious Rights
While in prison, His Divine Holiness was denied the right to perform His religious rituals as a spiritual and religious head. The police even disallowed Him to use his rosary beads, ridiculing that He might use it to strangle Himself to death.
Denied right to meet lawyer
His Divine Holiness was deprived of the right to even meet His lawyer. This is a direct violation of the universal human rights to justice which also proclaims the right to freedom of practicing religion, belief in teachings.
Threatening to kill with “Encounters”
The CID officers briefed His Divine Holiness of a technique called “Encounters” where the accused is deliberately provoked to attack a person, and is killed by the person or the police as a choiceless act of protection against him. In India, over 900 cases of “encounters” have been executed by the police. While threatening with an encounter, the police even told Him that He need not even repeat the lie in court, and that He just needed to confess the lie in the interrogation that they were conducting!

CID unlawfully passes interrogation footage to media
The CID hatched a vicious plan to force a false confession from His Divine Holiness. They built a special interrogation room, recorded the whole footage and gave it to the media.
A special ‘interrogation room’ was built for torture
The CID officers hired MAASTEK, an agency to design a special interrogation room for interrogating His Divine Holiness. A vicious plan was already in place to force Him to confess a lie and send the interrogation footage to media – and falsely claim that the interrogation footage was ‘leaked’.
Shocking CID Work Order Exposes that the interrogation room was specially designed to leak the footage
The police built a special interrogation room suitable for the purpose of the torture, with heavy lights, yet be presentable to the world once it is aired by the media. In the work order issued by the CID to MAASTEK, it was categorically directed to design two rooms: an interrogation room and a viewing room. It was clearly told to customize the room for ‘special torture.’

It was clearly instructed to have just one table, one chair and nothing else; to make the whole scene “look real drab”. The idea was to give it the look of a neat interrogation room interrogating a criminal, with no distractions to the viewer who watches the leaked footage, keeping his focus entirely on the subject (His Divine Holiness).

The interrogation footage is broadcast on national television channels with false ‘confession’ headlines
His Divine Holiness was taken into a ‘staged’ room where police officers were seated on one side of a huge table and He was to sit on the other. Heading the investigation was DIG (Deputy Inspector General) CID, Charan Reddy, a chief player in the nexus against His Divine Holiness. Ofcourse, the plan to force a false confession failed.
Within a few hours, as criminally plotted, the interrogation footage was unlawfully released to the media which aired it on national television channels with false voiceovers of ‘confession’!

The media’s BIG LIE - His Divine Holiness is not co-operating in the interrogation
The media made a BIG LIE, claiming that His Divine Holiness was not cooperating in the interrogation giving false officers’ names and that He was answering very briefly with long pauses in-between!
FACT: The leaked footage itself clearly showed that His Divine Holiness was talking animatedly and at long length. He completely cooperated with the interrogation.
The footage was first given to Udhaya Television (a channel of Sun Television Network). The Police lies that footage was stolen!
When Counsel to His Divine Holiness moved the court requesting for the original footage from the CID (State Police Criminal Investigation Department) to disprove media, the CID lied that the footage was stolen and leaked to media! Their lie was exposed by the scapegoat-technician who was tortured to profess guilty of stealing the footage, when in reality it was a planned act of the CID.
THE EVIDENCE OF CRUEL ACTS OF CRIMES BY THE CID (STATE POLICE) - CID TORTURES THE CCTV CAMERA INSTALLER INTO FALSE CONFESSION
Following is the expose on the CID crimes of what led to unlawfully giving out the interrogation video footage in the hands of media. Excerpts from the official confession of Mr. Suresh, a hired consultant of the agency MAASTEK, who installed the CCTV camera in special interrogation room of CID office and asked to take out the footage clippings in an external drive.
We completed installation of CCTV system…..I was clearly told to handover the footage in a pen drive. I did according to his (Mr. Vinay, the manager) instructions.
Mr. Charan Reddy (CID) and other inspectors told, ‘Those who have taken the clippings, please clarify. I will take you to the DG (Director General); he will release you after taking an apology letter the same day afternoon.’
I was told to confess guilty. ‘Go and claim to be guilty, the rest I will manage.’
Vijay, SP Mr. Chandrasekhar (Superintendent of Police) and Mr. Marishetty spoke to me and said, ‘If you confess to the mistake, we will just put a small case and close the matter because you are in no way related to the Maastek company. They took my mobile and there was no means of communicate with either my family or lawyer.
POLICE TORTURE IN A REMOTE AREA FOR FALSE CONFESSION: Around 9 pm,
SP Mr. Chandrasekhar called 2 constables and one inspector spoke to them. They took me to a lodge named RAJA GALAXY at around 11:30 pm. They told me to make an entry into the register in my own writing. They took me inside, removed my clothes, tied my mouth and legs and tortured me and told me to agree, threatening that if I don’t, they know what to do. **They instructed me to tell that I had given the pen drive to Sinchana Media. I was unable to bear the torture and at around 1 am, I agreed to say according to their instructions.**They even threatened me, ‘If you tell this to anybody, that you were in the lodge, you will face dire consequences.’
**ARREST:**As per their instructions, when the Magistrate asked me , I replied, ‘They treated me very well.’ They took me to Judicial custody and arrested me.
Even after I am on bail, they are harassing me and torturing me, calling me all the time and saying, ‘If you do not agree, another case will be registered in your name.’ They are harassing me and trying to take signature on statements as per their wish forcibly. DIG Mrs. Malini Krishnamoorthy and Mr. Kishore Chandra are abusing me and scaring me during interrogation.
**CID HARASSMENT TO FAMILY:**They are sending constables to my house and simply torturing my parents, when I am not there. I am mentally depressed. I am thinking of commiting suicide due to the agony which my parents are facing due because of the CID harassments.

State Police Sexually Harass female monks - touches them inappropriately
Director General of Police CID Guruprasad and Deputy Superintendent of Police CID Charan Reddy went to the Bengaluru Aadheenam (temple monastery) where His Divine Holiness used to live. They used to barge in the aadheenam, entering the dorms of female Sanyasis (Hindu monks), ruthlessly pulling them out, sexually harassing them by touching them inappropriately, treating them like prostitutes, sexually assaulting them, and forcing them to file a false rape complaint against His Divine Holiness. They took the pretext that Indian law mandates that a woman cannot be summoned to the police station and the police have to go to her. The same law also mandates that she has to be informed and her consent taken, but this was grossly violated! Female sannyasis flew to other monastery branches and their pre-monastic families to escape from the torture by the inhuman and lustful state police.

**13 May 2010:**The mastermind behind the persecution had promised Kishan Reddy (a real estate mafia), a prime property of His Divine Holiness - the Hyderabad Aadheenam (temple monastery complex). 15 of his Mafia men, entered the Hyderabad Aadheenam on 13 May 2010. They broke the front gate and barged in. After that, they close the gate with their own lock so that nobody could enter or escape. They then beat the sannyasis (monks). Several aadheenams faced such abrupt persistent attacks. In all the Aadheenams, the Sanyasis filed police complaints, but no action has been taken for any case till date.

“On the night of 12th May 2010 while I was living in Hyderabad Aadheenam, me and the other female sanyasis received a strange phone call from men threatening us to get out of the property. We quickly figured out that it was Kishen Reddy and his real estate mafia who had their eye on the prime property right outside the city. He brazenly shouted, “Do you know who is behind us? The most powerful person The mastermind behind the persecution! You don’t stand a chance against him!” Though their threats were alarming, we didn’t take much heed as we were preoccupied with everything happening in the media.
The next evening we got one more similar call. I answered the phone and immediately hung up when I realized it was Kishen Reddy’s mafia again. We continued about our work forgetting about the call. Around 9 pm, we heard a knock at the door. One of the other aadheenavasis answered the door. She was suddenly pushed to the ground by a crowd of men trespassing into the Aadheenam. Shocked, I jumped up from my chair and ran to her. Before I knew what was happening, one of the men slapped me so hard I fell to the floor. The 6 men entered our home, grabbing the three other female aadheenavasis while I struggled to get away. One of the men snatched me by my hair and threw me against the wall, breaking my glasses against my face. I was stunned into silence as my nose started profusely bleeding. Unable to see, I scrambled to get up. Before I could lift myself up, one of the men jumped on top of me.
I kept quiet and did not resist as I could see the other women being brutally beaten and more aggressively assaulted for resisting. The man repeatedly penetrated me, laughing as I squirmed in pain. Unable to bare his heavy frame on my body, I found it difficult to breath. I eventually had a panic attack and he relented but not without finishing to his satisfaction.
After that, one of the other men tried to assault me as well but I was curled in a ball, trembling with anxiety. He moved on to one of the other women and raped her twice before calling his accomplices to leave. While we were being raped, two of the men had scoured the aadheenam for all our valuables including gold deity jewelry, cash, silver asanas, and much more.
Simultaneously, they destroyed all of our deities, murthis, photos, and all other religious items. They threw the main deity on the ground and smashed the face in with a stone. They made a point to defile every photo of Swamiji in the aadheenam. None of us even noticed until the whole attack was over and they were leaving, threatening us with further attacks if we spoke out. When
we evaluated the whole scene, we found that they stole nearly 3 crore of assets and damaged 5 crore more.
We didn’t even bother to try to file a police complaint as we knew Kishen Reddy’s connections in the CID and whole of the city ran far and wide. We were likely to put ourselves in more danger if we attempted to report them so we kept the whole thing quiet, trying to rebuild our lives after the whole traumatic incident.”

After several hearings and postponement of 53 days, a bail depriving Him of human rights is issued
**11 June 2010:**The Counsel to His Divine filed a bail petition at the Karnataka High Court. The State Police quietly slipped a memo in the court declaring there were no witnesses to claim any wrong by His Divine Holiness. The High Court demanded, “Under guise of suspicion, how long can you (Police) torture a person mentally?”
A bail that harassed, tortured and restricted
The State Police had no intention of closing the FAKE investigation. Keeping the FAKE case perpetually alive was their way of perpetually harassing and torturing His Divine Holiness. The inhumane bail conditions were kept alive perpetually. As long as the investigation continued, which may be for decades, His Divine Holiness’ Human Rights would remain suspended. For example, the court had suspended His Divine Holiness’ fundamental Human Right of Freedom of Speech until the investigation was over. There was no limit to how low the illegal ‘investigation’ could be kept alive. Counsel of His Divine Holiness had to pray to the courts for allowing Him to visit His village to take part in last rites of His grandmother (as can be seen reported in the newspaper clipping here).
His Divine Holiness was put to the ordeal of moving the court and applying for permission for every required travel, whether it was for the last rites ceremony of His Grandmother or the pilgrimage to Mount Kailash.

Why did they not want His Divine Holiness to speak after he leaves prison?
Torture is illegal in India. They tortured him for 8 days, completely against law and humanity. And then, when they could not find any evidence against Him, they released Him from the illegal arrest. They did not want Him to reveal to the world and to His many thousands of followers about the torture. To silent Him forcibly, they denied His fundamental Human Right & Freedom of Speech.
The 8-day State police (CID) torture:
They threatened Him with encounters to force Him to make a false confession.
No food or water was given to him for 8 days.
**They kept him hungry for days denying food and water.**They would ridicule his sacred sentiments by forcing him to eat cow’s meatknowing well that as a Hindu, he worshipped the co as a sacred being. Therefore He never ate anything.
He was denied His rights to perform His religious rituals and denied using his sacred rosary beads.
Basic human needs were denied to Him - no bed or mattress was provided, instead there was only some thin paper on the floor for Him to rest. The Police would torture Him making the floor wet and adding ice.
He had no human rights in prison, he was isolated and made helpless - nobody could visit Him, he couldn’t take any help of any lawyer or legal representative.
When he came out of prison, they issued orders that he should not speak after leaving the prison.
It was a gross violation of human rights of subjecting to torture, cruel inhuman, degrading treatment and punishment (United Nations Declaration of Human Rights - Article 5) and arbitrary arrest, detention or exile (Article 9).
Bail ‘conditions’ suspended the fundamental Human Rights & Freedom of speech
(Following are the extracts from the bail order)
*Essence:*More than 50 witnesses, devotees, disciples and various people were remanded, interrogated and harassed by the State prosecution, but all of them gave statements only in support of His Divine Holiness and his divinity; no offence by His Divine Holiness got indicated.
*Essence:*The (fabricated) obscene video clips undoubtedly hurts the sacred sentiments of devotees.
But the clips do not supportfake rape (376) charges.
Essence; There is no material to support any of the allegations of rape or any of the other allegations.
Just based on allegations, a person cannot be denied ‘right
to life’.
Even the Investigation Officer said, “there is no material to support any allegations”.
Propaganda for Justification of Persecution:
Essence: The Court is clear that the matter cannot be discussed as it has been distorted by the Media character assassination of the image of His Divine Holiness.
However, since His Divine Holiness is at a position of high respect and regard in the Hindu society there should not be even one iota of doubt on his image and His Divine Holiness must come out of the persecution demonstrating strong determination and courage living up to the expectation of the people.
Unjust Bail Conditions - Human Rights Suspended
Freedom of Speech, freedom to impart religious discourses indefinitely suspended.
Freedom to travel suspended : Cannot leave the jurisdiction without court permission.
Cannot preach or conduct any program till investigation is complete.
Has to sign in a register in the local Police station every 15 days.
The inhuman bail conditions were a direct violation of the fundamental right of speech and practicing one’s
religion as enshrined in the Constitution of India as well as violation of the fundamental human rights of freedom of thought, conscience, and religion to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. as per the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights - Article 18.

**26 April 2010 :**In Spite of this, the forest department issued a notice a court notice to His Divine Holiness while he was still in jail. The attackers who had actually done

False ‘Poaching’ charges against Paramahamsa Nithyananda
**26 April 2010 :**False charges of using tiger skin - wildlife products - were framed on His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The fact was that His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda was using a simple cloth on which a tiger was printed. CID claimed that a CD was seized from Paramahamsa Nithyananda Bidadi ashram that had visuals of HIM using wildlife products including a tiger pelt, skin of a leopard, spotted deer, and a wild dog. These FAKE news were to divert attention of the masses from the atrocities which were being done by the State against the monastic community. The State Police wanted to prolong the arrest, to force out a false confession which would be followed by a silently assassination. The silent assassination would be mis-reported to the courts as a suicide or as a natural death.
