Title: Why Ashram?

Content: People ask me: Master, why are you making so many ashrams world wide? What is the point in living in ashrams? It looks too much like a cult. It looks too much like a commune! We don't want to be seen like a cult. Why not stay at home and achieve what needs to be achieved? What is the difference between living in an ashram and living in a joint family?

Content: To answer these questions, first let me tell you a fundamental truth that you need to know.

Content: Humans are conscious beings, not just social utility tools. If you are a doctor, your profession is being a doctor; your being is not a doctor. If you are a teacher, your profession is being a teacher; your being is not a teacher. When you attend to patients, when you teach students, you are using your knowledge and doing service to people. When you do this, you earn money for yourself. This is perfectly alright.

Content: We have not been designed to just gain mundane knowledge and walk the planet Earth. We have been designed to feel our own consciousness and fly! What do I mean by fly? I don't mean you will grow wings and fly! When you experience your own consciousness as a part of the cosmic consciousness, when you feel the expanse of the universe within yourself, when you feel that the whole of life is a wonderful show that is going on, you will feel so light inside you that you will rise and fly! That is what I mean by flying! You will be eternally with a light and blissful feeling. Nothing will bother you. You will be like a Paramahamsa - the Supreme Swan! The Supreme Swan, blessed with bliss, flies high above us not perturbed by anything that happens around it.

Content: Now you will ask, But I am fine just walking. Why should I fly? Tomorrow, you will come and tell me, Master, help me, I am not able to put up with my family's torture. Nothing seems to satisfy them. Tell me how to be in peace amidst the tension at work and home. Is it possible to live in this world without feeling disturbed? Teach me a meditation that will make me like you!

Content: But I just told you that you don't have to walk, you can fly! You don't understand that. You think I am telling you something extra and unwanted. No! I am telling you the direct cause of your disturbance and the solution for it also. The cause of your trouble is, you are walking instead of flying. The swan perfectly knows what is going down beneath it. It is very much in the center of activity. But it is still flying blissfully! The reason is, it knows how to fly. The solution is learning how to fly.

Content: The problem is, when I tell you that you can fly, you want to walk. When I leave you to walk, you ask how to fly! Understand: all your questions are nothing but learning how to fly. Instead of straightaway asking this, you ask through so many questions! I am telling you the final question straightaway, the question which will straightaway give you the correct answer.

Page 5

Content: You need to come to the fundamental question: how do I fly? Until then, you will be asking so many other questions without knowing how to ask this question. That is the struggle of ignorance. You may be doing anything in life - you may be a doctor, a professor, a dancer, a driver, it doesn't matter. Whatever you may be, you need to fly so that you achieve the purpose of your design. And unless the purpose of your design is fulfilled, you will keep asking questions. Once the purpose is fulfilled, you will fly without any questions!

Title: The inner space

Content: There are two spaces: the outer space - this universe, and the inner space - the space within you. In the outer space, you move about and do your daily work. You experience many good things and painful things. You meet so many people and experience many happy moments. You also experience many sad moments because of these same people. You are familiar with this space. Have you ever wondered what your inner space is like? Have you ever felt like exploring it?

Content: Sometimes, when you are in a low mood, you will find that you wish to be alone in the outer space. You feel you want to be with yourself. Once you do that, you become alright. When nothing else works, you get away to be alone with yourself and hen suddenly you are bright again! What happened in those few hours? You went into yourself, did something and came back bright again! That is the power of your inner space. When all else fails, it is still available! It is the only thing available ALL the time!

Content: The inner space holds the key to flying! How much you work in your inner space, that much you will be joyful in the outer space. This is the secret of a blissful life. In olden times, the great Rishis, did so much penance and realized their inner space, what they are made up of. Once they achieved, the outer world became child's play! They found they were able to produce things effortlessly. They moved with such confidence. Ultimate confidence can come only if you know your inner space. Or else, there is always a danger of breaking down.

Content: Once you know your inner space, everything in the outer world will appear to be known! Even if it is an unknown subject, there will be an all-knowingness in you that will guide you to knowing it. And there will be no fear or apprehension either. That is the beauty! People are shocked to see me operating computers today. Sometimes I give them tips for shortcut methods! When they are stuck, I help them out! You see: if the inner space is lit, the outer space gets illumined from just this light. That is why those great rishis worked on the inner space from very young. They listened to the intelligence of Existence. They followed the right path from the beginning.

Title: The role of a Master

Content: Enlightened masters assume a form and come down to planet Earth for one reason: to awaken as many people as possible - to the inner consciousness! Because only if you are awakened, you can be a blissful being.

Content: Masters, through their words, through their silence, through their body language, through their mere presence, continuously radiate the energy of awakening. Just by watching them or hearing them or being in their presence, we can pick up! I always tell people: I can't teach you spirituality but you can

Page 6

Content: learn! It is like this: a master is an ocean of bliss. How much of him you wish to gather in your cup, that much you can gather. It is your choice. You can learn how much you wish to learn.

Content: The master devises many ways to help you pick up. He has a way for every type of person. There are so many types of people in this world. Some come from a simple village background; some come from a corporate background, some from simple home setups and others from complex setups with many societal rules. Some imbibe the mental setup from families which may not be the best of the things to imbibe. Whatever stuff you come with, the master has a design for it.

Title: Why ashram?

Content: Why ashram?

Content: In unfolding his mission, every master sets up an ashram. An ashram is the master's workspace. I tell my people: my ashrams are extensions of my being. In this workspace, I work on your inner space. When the two merge, you are enlightened!

Content: The Master is all the time trying to help reclaim the inner space, the being. Remember: we are more than a professor or a doctor; you are your inner space. But society has put such strong labels on us like 'doctor', 'engineer', 'you are good', 'you are bad', 'you are beautiful' and what not! We are all the time relating through one label or the other. By and by, we forget that we are not the labels, but the stuff beyond the labels!

Content: Society is not concerned about your consciousness. It is concerned about how to use you effectively, productively. All its actions will be oriented towards that. Right from the way it addresses you, it will be oriented towards that. It calls you 'doctor' even in a party! It calls you 'professor' even over lunch. It doesn't matter to it whether your consciousness is growing or not. As long as your contribution to it is growing, it is happy. And it will find solutions only for your contributions to grow.

Content: When a master sets up an ashram, he sets up a society conducive to the growth of consciousness. The very structure of it, he plans in a way to cause an explosion in you. And when I say structure, I don't mean just the working structure, I mean the very architectural structure! It could be a cow shed or a meditation hall, both the structures are built the way they are built for a purpose beyond what meets the eye! That is why the ashram of a master exudes so much mysticism! That is why, there seems to be a pull to the place that is not felt even towards the most exotic buildings in the world.

Content: Every brick of an ashram is laid with the master's intent to awaken humanity. The intent of a master has the power to materialize because it is the intent of Existence itself. It is satya sankalpa - intent of the Ultimate Truth.

Content: The ashram is a collection of people who are all the time aware that the other could become a Buddha any time!

Title: Everyone helps you

Content: Everyone helps you

Content: People ask, Why can't I reach this state from my own home? Why is the ashram necessary?

Page 7

Content: Your home is based on the concept of society. It is a microcosm of society. It helps you to survive in society. It offers shelter and security. All that is perfectly alright. In doing all this, it makes you forget the truth! It keeps you far away from the truth!

Content: Everyone at home operates from societal bondage. The focus at home is not your consciousness but your conscience. Your home is built on the ideology of the outer space. An ashram is built on the ideology of the inner space. In an ashram, its ambience, its structure, its people, everything in it beholds the ideology of the inner space.

Content: In an ashram, your friends and your master will not let you forget the ideology of the inner space. If you were to stay at home and listen to the master's words, for 10 days after meeting the master, after hearing his discourse, after practicing his meditation course, you will be in a high mood. Actually, 10 days is too much! One week perhaps. After that, society takes over us; the bondage returns. You slowly slip back into the older familiar patterns of thinking.

Content: I am reminded of a joke:

Content: The people who interact with you make a tremendous difference to your consciousness. Body language is the food for the mind. It is important that the very body language of the people we move with keep us in the right current, not just their words. And in the ashram, you start watching yourself and others soon. A current of keen awareness will start lowing in you. In the outer world, even if you watch, the language of words becomes so significant that it dominates the message as well as the person delivering it. In the ashram, if you watch, you can catch the language behind the language! Outside, when you listen, you actually hear; you don't really listen. When I say to you, 'Come closer', you take one step closer to me, that's all! In the ashram, the current of awareness in you causes you to hear and listen beyond the words. When I say 'Come closer', you listen to something deeper behind the words. Words fade into almost insignificance. The being starts hearing! Your hearing moves from your ears to your head to your very being. And only then have you started really listening! Until your being hears, nothing of use. Once your being starts hearing, words are of no real use!

Content: Why do I emphasise so much on the body language? The body language of a person emanates from his source. When you watch a person's body language, you are watching his source. The body language is the most natural thing in you. You may say, 'I love you', but your eyes may something quite different! You can't hide your body language. In an ashram, where everyone is drawn repeatedly to their source, everyone's body language will unconsciously change to reflect the source - which is the common source we all wish to go back to.

Content: In the ashram, you are all the time surrounded by people who are unconsciously working with their consciousness. When this happens, you too start moving inwards. Beautiful things start to happen within you. You get glimpses of moving within your own being. You become very alert to subtle moments of immense beauty! You start feeling causeless joy and feelings of happiness. You start attributing your happiness to contacting your own being instead of contacting the outer world. Of course you may be with good company, with beautiful people, but you will clearly see that the happiness comes from beautiful things happening inside you and not really from the outside. You will see that the outer world is appearing beautiful at all times irrespective of what happens in it. With increasing awareness, you will understand that this is so because your inner is beautiful and so the

Page 8

Content: outer is appearing beautiful! Suddenly, when this happens, you will be able to see how the people outside are missing the beauty of the whole thing and instead complaining about what is happening around them! While you are enjoying every single thing that is happening in the outer world, you see people complaining about the very same things.

Content: If you visit the ashram, you will understand what I am talking about. The very interaction of the ashramites will be so joyful and light! There will be a current of knowing laughter in all interactions. You can see that the lamp of consciousness is lit and spreading its radiance. Nothing will get serious beyond a certain point. People will be more sincere than serious! And that is the key to blissful living!

Title: Life is meditative

Content: I tell people, 'Just be available and stable, I will make you able!' I you are simply available to a Master, he takes care of the rest. If you visit the ashram, you will notice a distinction in the attitude towards work.

Content: Holistic growth has a strong connection to the nature of the food that we eat. Did you know that the consciousness of the person who cooks the food is important to those who eat the food? It directly affects the stomach! I always tell the people to keep their cook in good books, or else they might have to suffer! In the ashram, food is cooked by people who are choicelessly rooted in deep consciousness. They may be doing different things in the kitchen - cooking, washing vessels, cleaning, cutting vegetables; it doesn't matter. But they will be constantly in the higher realms of understanding, so automatically the food will take on a quality of goodness. This is what we call satvic food! Satvic food is food that carries positive energy and causes good to those who eat it. People who come to the ashram tell me that even though the variety of food in the ashram may not be grand, there is a quality in it that makes them feel good within themselves.

Content: In an ashram, people help us overcome our weaknesses instead of exploiting us. Everything is done for a common cause. Beyond that, there is no vested interest for any individual. Also, the game of life becomes . They do not judge or criticize. Society on the other hand constantly judges us; if we conform, we are rewarded; if we do not, we are punished.

Content: The ashram is a higher reality. Buddha talked about following Buddha(the Master himself), sanga (the community created by the Master) and dhamma (the Master's teachings) in order to reach the Ultimate Truth of Existence. The sanga is what is implied by the ashram life, provides the environment for the path to wisdom. Even if we do not remember our path, sanga, the community, the ashram, will remind us. Someone around us will constantly remind us of the higher ideals we have set out to reach. We would have a loving and caring place to grow spiritually. In the outer world, people will disturb, obstruct and stop us from our spiritual path bringing in their intellect and limited perceptions. In the ashram, people encourage us in reaching out to the great Truths.

Content: Human beings cannot live as isolated structures, as just individuals. No man is an island, John Donne has said. The human being is a social animal. If we are constantly reminded of higher Truths, we shall live them, radiate them. Sanga is about having bliss, radiating bliss. That's why ashrams are created. Ashrams are epicenters of strong blissful vibrations; vibrations that

Page 9

Content: cause the inner space to quake and shift; whatever we had built before is shattered and leveled. When one sits at the feet of the Master, all doubts are removed; energy is created to fulfill desires to reach higher spiritual levels. It is easy to love the Master; it is much harder to love our fellow beings. In the ashram, people learn to love each other without conditions and causes. Bliss is shared independent of the Master.

Content: The ashram is an ideological joint family. It is not bondage of blood relationship. It is a deep emotional and ideological connection. Ashram life is a way of life and one needs maturity. It is not a theory but a reality to be expressed and experienced. One does not have to renounce worldly and material life to be part of the ashram community. In Nithyananda ashrams around the world, couples and families live together in harmony, following a common dream while at the same time pursuing their material vocation. It is a joint family, not related by blood, but by conviction and the radial linkage to the Master. It is a bond that is much stronger than any blood relationship.

Content: The ashram life does require maturity to be a part of it. One has to be in a relatively ego less state to coexist with others in a mode of true equality. It is an environment where each one compensates for another's weakness and shares one's strength with another. There is no compulsion for anyone to do what he or she is told. Some may do all the work. Some may do nothing. Tolerance for another being, understanding of another being and acceptance of another being lead to compassion for one another. This leads to the understanding that 'the whole world is my family', Vasudeva Kutumbaha (The family of Lord Krishna), as Lord Krishna had said.

Content: Vivekananda said, 'the dharma chakra (the wheel of righteousness) is in motion. All you have to do is to stand by it and be part of its motion.' The ashram environment allows you to be a part of the moving chakra perpetually.

Content: nithyananda's family was a large joint family in Tiruvannamalai. There were well over 20 families who lived together in a large house that was almost two acres (nearly 90,000 square feet) in built up area.

Title: Nithyananda says:

Content: We believe facts like 300 years of longevity....what we believe deeply we reproduce. In society, you move between valley and peak without fulfillment. You never touch the core. Here, system is such that only growth is possible, no scope or anything else. Move beyond greed and fear and operate.

Content: The Srimad Karana Agama, Purva bhaga, Patala 71, Sakalotpatti vidhi, Sloka 8 & 9 (Sacred Ancient Hindu scripture) declares:

Content: In this way (Shiva) who is Nishkala - without any body and parts, who is the Ultimate Supreme Being, who is established in the Creation, who is the Cause of the creation of the Universe, assumes a body out of His Free Will for the protection of the Universe, and for the welfare of the Spiritual seekers and Devotees.

Content: The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam is the reigning spiritual emperor of 17 ancient traditional Hindu kingdoms and the reviver of the most ancient, most peaceful, still-living and long-lasting demonstrable system that shows the possibility of peaceful co-existence amongst people. Following the coronation to establish KAILASA worldwide at the age of 16, for the past 27 years, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam, as the face of the unified Hindus, has been single-handedly, tirelessly inspiring the dispossessed Hindu Diaspora to reclaim their Hindu centric freedom and stand unified for the centuries-old Hindu genocide.

Content: The 1008th living incarnation of Paramaśiva, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam stands as the unifying force for the 2 billion born and practicing Hindu diaspora worldwide and established the Hindu State, KAILASA for the persecuted Hindus in over 100 countries.

Page 11

Content: The SPH Nithyanada Paramashivam has made resolute efforts towards recognizing and legitimizing the Hindu genocide which has been receiving scant consideration by global leaders and international bodies, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam founded KAILASA Uniting Nations. For the past 27 years, this international body has been responsible in building relations, bridging dialogs, inspiring leaders, uniting nations towards acknowledging the Hindu policies which are universal, life positive as referenced from the ancient text of Hinduism. This is the 'ahimsa' (non-violent) way of bringing acknowledgment to the horrors of the Hindu genocide, the untold facts of the darkest act of mankind on Earth to the most contributing civilization - KAILASA.

Content: KAILASA is an apolitical nation whose vision is enlightened living for all. Towards this goal, KAILASA is the only Hindu nation on planet Earth today bringing legitimacy to the principles of Hinduism. Social principles, economic principles, judicial principles, Hindu medical principles, and Hindu economic principles. KAILASA is The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam's response to humanity's global problems of poverty, hunger, illiteracy, disease, violence and global warming and the continuing ethnocide and genocide of over 80 million Hindus worldwide since 7 centuries.

Content: Over the last 50 years, the effects of meditation and its significant impact on stress, crime rates, violence, political decision making and even war in local and global consciousness is well established. Unfortunately, in the last two hundred years, forcibly we are made to believe Hinduism is a functional principle only for enlightenment and spirituality. It is absolutely dysfunctional for the political, social, economical system. Making Hindu family structure dysfunctional is the greatest crime done against humanity.

Content: Sanatana Hindu Dharma has faced both historical and ongoing religious persecution and systematic violence, in various forms including assassination attempts on living incarnations, targeted elimination of Hindu pontiffs through bio war and lawfare, cyberbullying, Hindu phobia, forced conversions, documented massacres, demolitions, desecration and grabbing of worship temples and monasteries, looting of Hindu temples properties, destruction of Hindu educational institutions, elimination of well known Hindu libraries, the gross violation to the freedom to practice the Hindu school of liberated thinking (Sankhya), Hindu schools of living enlightenment (Jeevan Mukthi), gross violations of the right to freedom of religion that includes violations of the right to life, personal Hindu integrity or personal Hindu liberty, mass execution, looting and enslavement.

Content: Hinduism was once practiced freely in over 56 nations across the continent from Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Burma, Sri Lanka, all the way to Singapore, Malaysia, and Cambodia and Indonesia, and in 200 states, 1700 samasthanas (provinces) and 10,000 sampradayas (traditions). Over several centuries the combined forces of foreign invasion, political upheaval, colonialism and religious persecution systematically ended millennia of Hindu Swarajya, or self-rule. Today Hindu temples remain in a few countries but the Hindus who worshiped in them have been ethnically cleansed.

Page 12

Content: The revival of Hinduism through the civilizational nation of KAILASA globally irked vested interests of atheistic terrorist militant elements, caste supremacist terrorists and other anti-Hindu forces who executed a massive persecution and genocide on SPH and His followers on 2 March 2010 that continued for the next whole decade and comprised of over 70 assassination attempts, over 250 sexual assaults on SPH and his monks and disciples, lawfare of 120 false cases over 10 years, massive hate propaganda in electronic media of over 14,000 hours and print media of over 25,000 articles in 5 years, destruction of heritage properties worth over 27 million USD, and the continuing ethnocide and genocide of over 80 million Hindus worldwide since 7 centuries. Specifically, the lawfare involved:

Content: Delegitimizing SPH by hate propaganda, disenfranchising Him of His civil and human rights, prejudicing Him from fair representation and fair trial

Content: Repeated illegal imprisonment, with brazen torture, custodial assassination attempts, supported by system justification in various forms, including the common processes of bureaucracy, indifference, self-deception, diffused responsibility and has resulted in continued systemic complicity with torture, murder and genocide

Content: Well-planned multi-layer false hate propaganda by the ‘fourth estate’ media sustained by moral disengagement, leaving the broader public in a state of willful ignorance, motivated denial, out-group victim-blaming, dehumanization and bystander apathy to even genocide.

Content: The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam stands in solidarity with the untold, multi-level - social, political, intellectual, religious, cultural, linguistic, economic, legal, digital - persecution done to Hinduism and faced by Hindus and Hindu minorities worldwide for the past several thousands of years continues through the modern day. The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam has been recently acknowledged by the United Nations for the persecution of The SPH and the KAILASA global community, especially the affected women and children.

Content: The KAILASA with de facto spiritual embassies operating across over 100 countries and having presence across the globe as the largest spiritual knowledge source on Hinduism is spiritually governed with the life positive, all-inclusive, universal policies sourced from Hinduism revived by the SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam. Having enriched and enreached more than one billion individuals over the past 27 years the KAILASA raises the voice to protect Hindus, defend Hindus and preserve the Hindu narrative for the world.
