நீர்ப்பூக்கள் செந்தாமரை, வெண்டாமரை, செங்கழுநீர், நீலோற்பலம், செவ்வாம்பல், வெள்ளாம்பல் என்பவைகளாம்.

Aquatic flowers include red lotus, white lotus, red water lily, blue water lily, red water lily, and white water lily.

சீவாகம விதிப்படி பத்திர புஷ்பமெடுத்து அருச்சிக்கக் கொடுத்தலும், தொடை கண்ணி முதலாகிய பலவகைப்பட்ட திருமாலைகளைக் கட்டிச் சாத்தக் கொடுத்தலும் சிறந்த சிவ புண்ணியமாம். முருகநாயனார்சரித்திரம் இதற்குச்சான்றாகும்.

Gathering sacred leaves and flowers in accordance with the Śaivāgama prescriptions and offering them for worship, as well as making and offering various kinds of sacred garlands, beginning with flower garlands and looped garlands, constitutes an excellent Śiva merit. The history of Muruga Nāyanār bears witness to this.
