Maturation of Karma Mala.

உலகம் ஒடுங்குவதனாற் கன்மமலம் பரிபாகமாதல் எங் ஙனமெனில்; கன்மமலம் என்பது நல்வினை தீவினை என்னு மிருவினைகளாம். அவைகள் பரிபாகமாதலாவது, அவற்றின் காரியமாகிய இன்ப துன்பந்களில் சமபுத்தி தோன்றுதலாம். அச்சமபுத்தி, இன்பமுந் துன்பமும் நெடுங்காலம் அனுப வித்து அவ்வனுபவத்தால் அவ்விரண்டினுங்கைப்புத் தோன் றுதலால் உண்டாம். இன்ப துன்ப அனுபவத்திற்குக் கார ணமாகிய இருவினைகள் பயனுக்கு வருங்காலத்து, அவ்வனு பவத்திற்கேற்றவாறு உடல் முதலியவற்றை மாற்றிக்கொடுக்க வேண்டியது சிவபெருமானது கடமை. ஆதலால், அவ்வாறு மாற்றுங்கால் உண்டாகிய ஒடுக்கம் பக்குவமாயிருக்கும் கன்ம பலன் அனுபவித்துத் தொலைத்தற்கு ஏதுவாதலால் சங்கா ரம் கன்மமல பரிபாகத்தின் பொருட்டாயிற்று.

How does the dissolution of the world bring about the maturation of Karma Mala? Karma Mala consists of the two kinds of actions, namely virtuous and sinful deeds. Their maturation means that equanimity arises toward the pleasures and pains produced by them. This equanimity arises after experiencing pleasure and pain for a long time, whereby aversion toward both of them develops through such experience. When the two kinds of actions that cause the experience of pleasure and pain come to fruition, it is the duty of Sivaperuman to provide bodies and other things appropriate to those experiences. Therefore, since the dissolution that occurs during this transformation becomes an opportunity to exhaust the fruits of Karma through experience when they have reached maturity, dissolution takes place for the sake of the maturation of Karma Mala.
