The Distinctive Characteristics of the Primordial Lord

அருவம் அருவுருவம் உருவம் என்னும் முத்திறத் திரு மேனிகளைக் கடந்தோராய், ஓரடையாளமும் இல்லாதவராய், மனம் வாக்குக்கு அதீதராய், குணங்களுக்கு மேற்பட்டவராய், ஆனந்தக்குறியாய், அற்புதராய், மலரகிதராய் ஓராதாரமுமில் லாதவராய், ஒரு காலத்தும் சலிப்பற்றவராய், சுகவடிவினாரய்

The Shaiva Agamas state that Lord Shiva alone transcends the three kinds of divine bodies known as Aruvam, Aruvuruvam, and Uruvam; has no distinguishing mark; is beyond the reach of mind and speech; transcends all qualities; is the embodiment of bliss; is wondrous; is free from impurities; has no support; is never weary at any time; and is the embodiment of happiness.

பாச பசுஞானங்களால் அறிதற்கரியவராய், உவமையில்லாத வராய், ஞானமாய், அதிருக்குமராய், விருப்பு வெறுப்பு இல் லாதவராய், பரஞ்சோதியாய், மூவகை ஆன்மாக்களுக்கும் முத்தித்தானமாய் நிற்பவர் சிவபெருமான் ஒருவரேயென்று சிவாகமங்கள் கூறும்.

They further state that Lord Shiva alone is difficult to know through the knowledge of bonds and souls; is incomparable; is knowledge itself; is immutable; is free from likes and dislikes; is the Supreme Light; and stands as the abode of liberation for the three kinds of souls.

He is without qualities, attributes, actions, beginning, middle, or end; He has no birth or departure, no superior, and no equal. He alone stands as the Lord of all souls.
