Passage 2
Thus, the soul that has attained the three paracorporeal bodies comes to possess the subtle body. The subtle body is the incorporeal body produced from the five causal tanmātras—sound, touch, form, taste, and smell—and the three inner faculties—mind, intellect, and ego. It is distinct for each soul, serves as the instrument through which souls experience enjoyment, and, at the end of its lifespan, enables the soul to leave its former body and assume another.
