*நிலவுலகத்து அரச வைபவத்தோடு வாழும் வாழ்வும், விண்ணுலகத்து இந்திரன் பிரமா விட்டுணு முதலியோர் வாழ் வும், பூதபரிணாமமாகிய எண்பத்துநான்கு நூறாயிரம் யோநி பேதங்கள் எவற்றினும் பொருந்திய வாழ்வும் தோன்றியழி வதாகிய இந்திரசாலமும் சொப்பனக்காட்சியும் கானற்றே ரும்போல நெடுங் காலம் நிலைபெறுவன போற் றோன்றி விரையக்கெட்டு மறைந்துபோம் இயல்பு பற்றி உலகப் பொருள்கள் அனைத்தும் அசத்தெனவுங் கூறுவர். அசத்து - இல்பொருள்.

*The life lived with the grandeur of an earthly kingdom; the lives of Indra, Brahma, Vishnu, and others in the heavenly world; and the lives associated with any of the eighty-four hundred thousand species arising through the transformations of the elements—all these, as well as magic shows and dream visions, appear to endure for a long time, like a mirage chariot, but soon perish and disappear. Because of this nature, people also refer to all worldly objects as asat. Asat — a nonexistent entity.
