The State of Liberation

சித்தாந்த சைவமல்லாத ஏனைச் சமயநூலாருக்கும் முத் திக ளுளவாம். அம்முத்திகள் படிமுறையால் நிலம் முகல் நாதமீறாகிய முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றிலே நிலைபெறுவனவாம்.

Non-Siddhanta Saiva religious texts also speak of three kinds of liberation. These liberations are attained successively, each at one of the thirty-six tattvas, beginning with Earth and ending with Nada.

லோகாயதம் முதல் ஐக்கியவாத சைவம் இறுதியாகிய மூவகைச் சமயத் தெய்வங்கள் எல்லாம் பிருதிவி முதல் அசுத் கமாயாதத்துவ மிறுதியாயுள்ள ஒவ்வொரு தத்துவங்களிலே நிலைபெறுவர். அகச்சமயத் தெய்வமாய் நின்ற அதிகார போகலய சிவபேதங்கள் சுத்தவித்தியாதத்துவ முதலிய சிவ தத்துவம் ஐந்தனுள் ஒவ்வொன்றிலே நிலைபெறுவர். அவ் வத் தெய்வங்கள் நிலைபெறும் தத்துவமே அவ்வச் சமயங்க ளுக்கு முத்திநிலையாகும்.

All the deities of the three kinds of religions, beginning with Lokayata and ending with the Saiva doctrine of Aikya- vada, abide in the respective tattvas, beginning with Earth and ending with Asuddha-maya. The Siva-bhedas known as Adhikara, Bhoga, and Laya, which stand as the deities of the inner religions, abide respectively in each of the five Siva tattvas, beginning with Suddha-vidya. The tattva in which each of these deities abides is the state of liberation for the respective religions.
